First NBA Basketball Game

We have finally attended our first NBA basketball game; it was so much fun. Chris was able to get us  pretty close to the floor for dirt cheap. It was so amazing to see all the basketball players and how amazing they show there talent. We went to this specific game because Chris is an huge Duke fan and there was a player that was drafted to this team, "so we just had to go", said Chris. I enjoyed going downtown Salt Lake and watching this game and going with Chris.

Graduation

     Chris and I graduated a semester apart. I decided to combine the posts and write about our experiences together. I went to school to study Elementary Education and graduated December 2012 and Chris graduated in April of 2013. We have been attending BYU-I since 2009 and have been working our tails off.  I am so grateful that my parents have instilled in me the value of education and for the drive that Chris has it for it as well. My Graduation was so much fun because my family was able to come and charish this moment with me. My brother Helmut and my sister Melanie were unable to attend my graduation but I am still very grateful for their love that they shared with me on that day. Helmut is currently serving his mission in Vancouver Canada and Melanie was unable to visit due to a family emeergency. My parents took me out to dinner and bought me a whole pie for dessert. My mom bought me a sewing machine so I can be domesticated and my sister Melissa made me laugh every second of that day. I am so glad that I was able to listen to my parents guidance all throughout my life. Being on that stage, receiving a diploma was so rewarding because I was able to the happiness in my families face.
     Chris's Graduation was so much fun as well! His mom was unable to come but his father was able to come. Chris is the only child and by graduating, he was made his family very proud. His dad cried threw the whole thing and truly appreciated all of Chris's hard work. Chris will now be applying to get his second bachelors which will then lead to more schooling; getting his doctorate in Physical Therapy.

What is that?! Warning: Pictures are gruesome

Over the last couple weeks, before school ended and our insurance with them was up, i was contemplating to go to the doctor. I had this mole on my arm that was not usually there so i decided to go to the doctor. The doctor was examining it and he said it looked different than my other moles but it does not look like we need to remove it. As i was sitting there, the doctor gave me the option of either removing it, or just track the mole and see if there was any growth or etc. I decided to get it removed because our insurance with the university will expire and i wanted to just get it removed. It was either remove it, or just watch it, i chose to remove it. I was so scared, but luckily he numbed the pain and all was okay; he gave me a needle injection to numb the pain. He stuck the needle in and i automatically was saying, "it is not numb, are you sure you did it right. I don't think you did this right". If by now you have not caught it, i am terrified of needles and pain. The doctor comes and pokes my skin and i obviously did not feel anything. He then begins to cut my arm and remove the tiny mole. Weeks pass before i get the results from that mole back. He calls me and says that the lab wants him to remove more skin just to be sure the whole mole is gone. There was nothing wrong with it, they just want him to be sure he got it all. The doctor apparently cut so close to the mole they do not think he got it all. The size of the mole was a tenth of a size of a penny. Really small.  I then had to go back to the doctor and he then had to cut more out. This time, i brought back up. I made Chris come with me, hold my hand, and talk to me. As the doctor stuck me with a needle, i told him, "You have ten seconds to give me a needle and then get it out, 10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1". There i am, still counting and Chris is saying "ten more seconds, ouch does that hurt". I am freaking out, the doctor is laughing and Chris is on the floor laughing. Apparently, the doctor took like 5 seconds and i thought the needle was still in there, so i am freaking out! After they had there laughs and giggles, the doctor started to cut the old stitches out, and cut around my skin. i watched some t.v shows on netflix at this point. After he stitched me, my arm was numb and in pain for the rest of the day. On that day, it was Chris's graduation and my dress was blue, the bandage was pink; it was a major fashion faux paw. haha I enjoyed walking around in my nice blue dress and then my bright pink bandage, i had many eye glances. Overall, i am so thankful that i went to the doctor and that Chris
was there to hold my hand!
