Real Salt Lake vs Vancouver Canada Soccer game

Chandra had amazing seats given to her for the weekend soccer game that to her work gave to her. I LOVE WATCHING SOCCER! I am counting down the days until FIFA and GO GERMANY btw. As Chandra and i prepared to go to the soccer game, i went in a very cute outfit and healed boots, but as i got there i realized it was a bad move, it poured rain the entire time and it was freezing. FYI: even in the spring at night, Utah's temperature drops increasingly fast. BBBRRR. We went to Cafe Rio for dinner and Schmidt's bakery afterwords to fill a craving i had. The game was amazing, GO CANADA. They started off with the Canadian anthem and i missed home when it started and yes i sang along with it; Chandra thought it was ridiculous. The players were so fast but the refs were not on it tonight, they missed so many calls. Chandra's shoes were soaking wet and i could not feel my toes. After the game, we ran to the closest 7/11 and grabbed a huge Hot Chocolate. Thank Heavens for 7/11. It was so much fun watching the game and i am glad that i have a friend that invited me to that amazing game.

Conference

We normally get tickets for conference from my home ward but our wonderful friends this year got us front row seats to Conference. It was so awesome; i could practically touch the president. It was so neat being front and centre during conference and hearing the words of the prophet and his apostles. I love going to Conference, it is a time that i can be uplifted and hear words that apply to my everyday situations. It was so awesome going and feeling loved in a room filled with people with the same beliefs. Every time I go i hear something different and it makes me fell so happy and loved that my Heavenly Father is watching over me. Thanks Mal and Trev for the wonderful tickets.
