Madison Duke

I love my dog, Madison. She is so freaking cute; she sleeps with us, follows me everywhere and smells out food wherever she is. I love that she finds the tightest crevice and snuggles up. You can be laying anywhere and she will snuggling right up to you. She has major attitude and sass, but she also has the eyes of a two year old. I love my baby <3

Happy Birthday Bro!

I wanted to give a shout out to my wonderful brother Helmut Neher A.K.A Moot! Helmut and I are 10 months apart and are inseparable. Growing up we pulled each others hair, slapped, hit each other with a hockey stick etc. Even though we did all these things when we were kids, we grew closer and closer together as we aged. I am so glad that i grew up with an amazing best friend that i call my brother. To this day when we get together we are trouble. I love it that no matter where we are we can talk for long hours and when we get together, we party hard! Love you Bro <3

First year of teaching

This year has been a crazy year! I cannot believe that i taught an entire year without having a mental breakdown, kill something, break a pencil (yes i am being a tad dramatic). I have had a an amazing class who have changed my life. They are a sweet, amazing, brilliant group of students. I was so very blessed to have had them as my first year class. Yes, there were times that i wanted to call it quits, but in the end, the lightbulb went off and all was right in the world. I love that no matter what class you teach, there will always be diversity. I have has very shy individuals and very extrinsic individuals; they are so funny and sometimes i just had to stop the lesson and laugh. The one thing that I truly did love, was that i learned so much about American History, geography; as my students were learning, i was learning. I am truly grateful for having such an amazing job and work with such an amazing group of people. I had an amazing year, so ups and some downs, but overall, this was an amazing first year of teaching and I owe it all to my fabulous students.
