Three Months

I cannot believe that our little man is three months old. He has brought us so much joy and has grown so much. Baby Jaxs still loves cuddles and smiling all the time. Jackson now weighs 10 lbs; he climbing up there. He is fitting into his three month clothes a lot better now, unfortunately he does not fit them width wise, only length wise. We think he is going to be a tall young man. We recently went to a Pumpkin patch where Jackson got to pick some pumpkins to carve, go on a hay ride, and go threw a hay mazy. And of course he slept the whole thing. Jackson has had some up and downs the last couple of years, he had a cold that turned into a double ear infection. The thing is, when Jackson is sick, he is not cranky, he just wants more lovin. When he was sick, we had to hold him even more, cuddle with him at night and thanks to our fabulous doctor, Jackson is doing all better.

We had some ups and downs with family as well, we got news that Chris's cousin committed suicide. It was so sad to hear and we are so sorry for that families loss.

We are looking forward to halloween this year. Chris and I strongly believe in holidays and living them to the fullest. This year for our family costume we are going to victims to a shark attack, where Jackson is going to be a shark.

I have always wanted to sew and recently started taking that hobby up again by making Jackson some Bandana bibs. They were so much fun and look adorable on baby Jaxs.

Jackson with his friend Riley

Jackson has enjoyed sitting in Bumbo, sitting uo straight, rolling over and wiggling around when he is on his back. We have seen him becoming more active and decided to buy him an Excersaucer and jumper in one... He abolsutely loves it.

We are so very happy to have Jackson in our lives and for the wonderful adventures we have planned in the future.

Update: 9.8.15

We are just loving our bundle of Joy! We have had a crazy last couple of weeks, we have had so much family come and bask in the joy that baby Jaxs brings. My sisters were able to come up and visit us as well as my nephews. We had such an awesome time! We ended going to a water park, where Jackson only like it when daddy held him in the water, many restaurants, lots of parks, and my favorite, an awesome trampoline park (Jackson did not ion us for this one). My sisters were only here for 4 days and then my mommy came. My mom was here for 8 days and we had a blast. She cleaned out house, cooked us lots of fun meals, and Jaxs spent quality time with his Grandma. Unfortunately, while my nephews were here, one of them had a cold and so now Jackson has a cold. I am not very happy about this! Jackson is doing really well, but still has a cough. Since we had family here, Chris and I were able to go on a date... Finally! We ended going to get dessert adn to see a movie for our 5 year anniversary. it wasn't much but I having Jaxs and an amazing husband, I already believe I have everything in the world.

Jackson had his 2 month checkup and is doing fabulously well. He now weighs 8 pounds and is hte 3rd eprcentile for his hieght and wieght. This is nothing to be wrroeeid about said the doctor becasue he ahs doubled in wieght since birth and is climbing the scales rpaidly. Jaxs is awesome!

Jackson has hit all of his mile stones and even passing his 4 month mile stones. Jackson is able to hold his head up, laugh at people aroud him, follow you with his eyes, cooing, and holding onto things. The doctor said I should be looking at Jackson rolling over at 4 months, but he can actually do it right now. We put him on the ground the other day and he just rolled over.  Evidently
, it was becasue his head moved, so his body moved, but still.... he rolled over.

Davis County Fair

Jaxs and I were able to attend the fair today but some close friends and there 3 children. Before we went to the fair, my friends daughters thought it would be cute if they would read to Jaxs, and it was so adorable!!

We were able to see the horses, pet the cows, goats, and etc (Jaxs obviously did not touch anything). After seeing the livestock we were able to see the elephants and watch a tiger show. During this time, Jaxs was in his Boba, chillin like a villain. Following the tiger show, I took Jaxs out of his Boba to be fed and low and behold, my shirt was soaking wet from his sweat. Mmhhhh. Just what I needed, a sweaty shirt! I was able to go down a huge slide with my friends children, it was so much fun. We had such an amazing day at the fair.

Funky Face Friday's

We went to a friends wedding today and had a blast. We ate, we talked, and more importantly, we danced; Jaxs of course slept through the whole thing. At one point we were sitting near the speakers, and Jaxs was still sleeping. He is such a cute little being that we love so much. During the one moment of him being alert, we were able to snap a phot of him and us being silly. I love that he even participated.

Jaxs is one month <3

Jaxs has had a fabulous first month of life! He is such an amazing, calm baby who really loves snuggles.

This week I went back to work to do training; fortunately, Jaxs was able to come with me. He spent an entire week with me, going to class to class. So many people loved seeing him that they wanted to hold, and as Jaxs loves snuggles, he loved all the attention. Following my week of training, my fabulous friends threw me a baby shower and so many people showed up.
He received so many gifts that we are so very grateful for.

On this particular day, it was also my birthday. I was seriously so spoiled by my friends but especially by Chris. In our family, we have a family tradition of having a "birthday week". This means that every day, on the week your birthday falls on, you receive a gift a day and on your actual birthday, a day full of pampering and etc. Chris started my birthday celebration on Monday and in the following you will see my gifts that I received:
Monday: Olive Garden
Tuesday: 25$ - get a manicure
Wednesday: Cold stone
Thursday: Sushi
Friday: candy basket
Saturday (birthday): breakfast in bed, shopping spree, outback and Cheesecake Factory for dessert.
Chris and Jaxs spoiled me rotten. I love those boys so much. #myfavoriteme.
After my amazing birthday week/ weekend, I went in on my week
off to get started on getting my classroom ready. Jaxs did so week, but since I had to be up and moving, I had wrap him in his Bona... He loved it!

After a week of BoBa's, cleaning and erring up, Jaxs and I successfully set up my classroom. He is such a great helper.

Chris and I were not tired one night, and not was Jaxs. We ended staying up and cuddling. It was so much fun.

We are getting really excited because my sisters are coming down and as well as my nephews. Jaxs and I are really excited for his cousins to finally meet him.

We are so grateful that we have an amazing family that loves us and supports us. Go family!!!!!

A week of Firsts

Jackson has had quite an amazing week of outings. Chris and I decided that we wanted to give Jaxs a gift that he can carry with him for the rest of his life and to also pass down to his children, therefore, we decided to get a bear. Where is the best place to get a bear... Build a Bear. We went to Build a bear and built him the cutest little teddy bear. we got to pick him out, stuff him, and place a cute little heart in the bear filled with a wish. I can't tell you the wish because it won't come true, but all Chris and I want out of this life is for Jaxs to live to his fullest potential and be happy. We decided that we wanted to dress his Bear up, so we bought him an outfit, a Thor outfit. Jackson's bear is now called Thor bear; he has a birth certificate and everything. We wanted to give him a superhero bear because for Jackson's month-to-month pictures of his first year of life, his month-tomonth stickers are superhero based. We are going to be placing him, with his superber month tie sticker on a onesie next to his bear, which will show his growth over a year. We were so excited to make him this bear and to see his growth.

Jackson also came with me to the Eye Doctors where I received glasses. After so many years of not wearing glasses, ever, the doctor prescribed me the lowest prescription ever; it is only meant to make things look sharper. I can wear them, not wear them, but I must admit, they are pretty shnazzy.

This was Jackson's first day of church. We kept him from "overly" crowded places because: 1. He is so dang cute people will want to touch him and 2. people have germs. Because Jackson was a Premie and his immune system was still developing, the doctor suggested we keep him from corded places. After the two weeks, Jaxs just had some slight congestion and we did not want to make matters worse, so we kept him indoors and away from overly crowded places. After a couple weeks of having Jaxs stay inside, we finally took him to church this past Sunday. It was so amazing to see everyone reaction to our adorable son and to remember that families are forever. I am very grateful that I believe in an amazing religion that teaches us many amazing things and for Jackson to grow up with great values.

I wanted to take pictures with Jackson and his new Thor Bear but he was not pleased. These are one of the many pictures that I took of him, and as you can see from his expression, he was not happy. We are going to be taking family pictures soon and I am so excited because by looking at the photos I take, we are in need of some help.

We love our Jaxs

Jaxs has had a busy last two weeks. We have taken to the cardiologist who stated that he was healthy and there is nothing wrong with him from a cardiologist perspective. FEWF! We can all finally breathe. We also took Jaxs to his two week check up and to receive his PKU test. Jaxs is now a whopping 5 lbs and 11 ounces; when he was born he was 4 lbs and 6 ounces. We are so excited that our little man is growing and stronger everyday. Jaxs is such a healthy baby who is always happy but when he is not happy, it is a little squeal. His cry is the cutest thing ever and we love him so much. We set his doctors appointment for him to get his pee pee snipped and the next two days, he was not a happy camper. Like I stated before, Jaxs is very happy, rarely cries, when he is alert, is very calm, never cries, but the next two days were not fun. I know Jaxs was in pain and I wanted to help him but there was nothing that I could do. So I just held him, rocked him and etc. and that seemed to be the only thing that would put him to sleep as well as a calm state. He is doing better now and is as happy as ever. Jaxs has been going on many errands with me, to the Vet, a doctors appointment, and eye doctors appointment, pioneer Day and etc. He is so amazing to take out, as long as it is not during his feeding tie; i learned that the hard way. He still only fits into NewBorn clothes, nothing above. I put him in an outfit that was 0-3 months and it just swallowed him up. Jackson is so adorable and such a happy baby and we couldn't of asked for a better blessing. We love him so much and we are grateful for the opportunity to be his parents. This week is his Birthmom's birthedy. We sent her a card and two pictures of Jaxs. We are so grateful for the relationship we have with her and wish her a very happy birthday!!!!

Jaxs love cuddling with Madison our dog

We gave Jaxs a bath this week and his hair went all curly. We love seeing the changes that Jaxs is going through and it is very exciting to go through it with him.

Chris is such an father!!

The one thing that Jaxs loves is cuddling. He loves his back being rubbed, and his eyelashes being stroked.

Jaxs at Madisons Vet appointment

After Jaxs pee pee getting snipped he wanted to feel loved and near someone, so inn the morning i would put him next to Chris.
